Aaron Daniels
Chief Executive Officer
Aaron has more than 22 years project management experience, with 12 years of experience in renewable energy, almost exclusively in emerging and frontier markets. He has managed the development and construction of over 3.6GW (approximately US$6b) of wind projects globally.
Edward Douglas
Chief Investment Officer
Ed’s leadership role with Kairos is guided by 20 years developing and financing renewable energy and gas-fired power projects in Southeast Asia.
Ed holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dundee and an MBA from Imperial College, London.

Lars Lund
Chief Technology Officer
Lars has 2.2 GW of construction project management experience in emerging markets. He has construction activities for Vestas in North Africa, USA & Japan from 2000-2009, and managed an 800-MW portfolio of wind projects in the US with 200MW for EDP Renewables.
Lingling Zhai
Commercial Director
Lingling has over 17 years of commercial contracting and negotiations experience in the renewable energy industry, with focus in Asia. Her wind experience began at Vestas, where she was a Senior Contract Manager, responsible for negotiation and contract management for onshore and offshore wind turbine supply and operations agreements. Following this, she was Manager for Contract and Risk for Spanish EPC Contractor, Abengoa, responsible for EPCF (EPC + Finance) for their business in China.
Richard Aston
Chief Financial Officer
Richard has 16 years of experience in senior finance roles including most recently as Group Financial Controller of Equis Development, a leading developer & operator of renewable energy projects across Asia. His prior senior roles include engagements across a diverse set of institutions in the UK and Singapore, including Total, Aramajaro, Marina Bay Holdings, and VC fund management firm, Albion Ventures.
Iara Arcilla
Development Director
Iara has 13 years of energy and infrastructure experience and has primarily focused on cross-border transactions & international expansion efforts for major independent power producers. She has project and transaction experience in Southeast Asia and Latin America, across multiple renewable energy technologies including solar, wind, geothermal, and hydro power.
Marc Wright
Chief Development Officer
Marc has 12 years of renewables experience representing >10GW and 130 projects in Africa & Asia. He led renewables development with BioTherm Energy (Denham Capital) in South Africa, from origination to development and acquisition of wind and solar projects spanning sub-Saharan Africa, securing a fully permitted pipeline of >5 GW in under 3 years.
Mark Toh
General Counsel
Mark has 9 years of corporate law experience in Singapore, including 5 years in the renewable energy sector. As a former Senior Legal Counsel for Equis, he has specialized in transactions and projects spanning across multiple technologies (solar, wind, biomass, WTE, & landfills), and markets (Japan, South Korea, Australia).
Nicholas Altstadt
Contract and Risk Manager
Nick has 11 years of experience working on renewable energy power projects, the bulk of which have been in Asia. His work has focused on power project development, financing, PPAs, EPC and O&M tendering and contracting, and commercial and legal due diligence.
Pedro Grasso
Senior Project Manager
Pedro has 5 years of experience in wind project development with a focus on project technical de-risking, resource assessment and wind engineering. His experience ranges from advisory for both government and private sector efforts in Argentina, to targeted site origination and early-stage development work in Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on the Philippines.
Krittanai Pongpunlert
Senior Project Manager
Bom has 8 years of experience in renewable energy, across various technical and commercial consulting roles. His area of expertise includes the conduct of feasibility studies, due diligence, lenders’ engineer assignments, and owner’s engineering services for wind and solar power projects.
Tri Nguyen
Country Manager (Vietnam)
Tri has 9 years of experience working in the renewable energy sector as both consultant and investor in Vietnam. He has been involved in the development, construction and operation of several of the country’s successfully completed renewable energy projects and with significant experience in the projects’ development planning and permitting.
Glen Leech
Senior Project Manager
Glen has over 21 years of experience in the transmission and distribution, and renewable energy sectors in Africa, Europe, Eastern Europe, and Asia. His area of expertise as an electrical engineer and project manager has mainly been focused on tendering, cost analysis, contract negotiation and construction management of wind and solar projects.
Richard Anderson
Senior Project Manager
Richard has 14 years of experience in renewable energy in the USA and Southeast Asia, particularly for wind power projects. His specific area of expertise falls within the latter stages of a project’s life cycle, from construction and commissioning to operations & maintenance, and performance optimization of wind projects.
Sirichon Boonprakob
Project Manager
Fonn has 5 years of experience in renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia. Her area of expertise is early and late-stage development in emerging markets, mainly focusing on wind project development from project origination to financial close.
John Pagola
Project Manager
John has 3 years of
experience in renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia. With a particular focus
on site hunting & early-stage development in emerging markets, his areas of
expertise are around project origination, project management, energy yield
assessment, & GIS digital mapping.
Chawin Boriboon
FP&A Manager
Ton has over 6 years of experience in financial consulting roles including as senior valuation consultant and head of feasibility and analysis. He has extensive financial modeling experience for valuation, investment decision, reporting and analysis purposes, mostly focused on renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia (Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam).
